March to Stop the War

March 2nd, 2010

Saturday, March 20
12:00 Noon
UW Library Mall, Madison

Bring the Troops Home from Iraq and Afghanistan!
Jobs, not Bombs!
Your voice, and the voices of peace-loving Americans are needed now more than ever. On the anniversary of the 7th year of US occupation in Iraq, the Administration’s new multi-trillion dollar budget plans to cut domestic programs while spending record amounts on defense. We need to pull the plug on military spending; increase domestic expenditures and cut funding for bank bailouts; initiate a jobs program in order to stop ‘The New Great Depression’; pass a single-payer health care bill; increase and enforce regulations on corporations; and Bring Our Troops Home Now!
Can your group endorse the march on 3/20, and the Teach-In on 3/19 & 20?  Contact Barbara at 242-9232 or by e-mail: barbara@merr.com
